What Festivals Do Christians Celebrate And Why ?
The definition of “Christian” is very wide. And there are so many kinds of Christians it all depends on which group you mean. Roman Catholic have a set of festival days in one country that differ from what they celebrate in another. The Eastern Orthodox which is also a type of Catholic observes almost all the same basic feast days as the Roman Catholics do but very often on different days. Protestant Christians the world over are much more predictable but still they can be divided into those who consider the traditional Jewish Sabbath Day (Sabbatarians) to be their Lord’s Day, and those who worship mainly on Sundays. The Jewish Christian’s who are known by a multitude of names including those Jews who do accept Jesus as their Messiah and refuse to be known as Christians usually celebrate all the same Festival days as Orthodox Jews.
