Two fees must be paid in order to secure your visa sponsorship: A $265 visa sponsor fee (which includes insurance) and a $35 SEVIS fee. This total of $300 in fees will automatically be deducted from your contracted summer salary. There may be additional fees imposed by the embassy for the visa application and issuance. You are responsible for any additional expenses regarding the acquisition of the J-1 visa.
