What fees does Virginia DCSE charge?
• $25 annual fee deducted once $500 has been collected on a case in which no Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF) benefits have been paid. This fee was federally mandated as part of the Deficit Reduction Act of 2005. The $25 fee is deducted once a federal fiscal year (October 1 through September 30) after $500 is collected on a case.
