What fees are involved in applying for a passport?

0

The basic fee is $110.00 for an adult passport; $80.00 for a minor’s (under 16) passport, payable to the U.S. Department of State and must be a check or money order – no exceptions. The execution fee of $25.00 is payable to the Clerk and can be paid by cash, check, or credit card. Please note the credit card service provider collects 3.5% of the total charge as a service fee for using the card. If you would like to have the application overnighted to the Department of State, additional postage is required and this fee is payable to the Clerk at the time the application is accepted.
