What fee, if any, would you be willing to pay an appliance store to deliver a refrigerator?

I might consider paying $50 but I would really have to want the particular model that they were selling me. Then, I’d only pay that amount if the fee also included taking away the refrigerator that was junk or not worth fixing. If there was no old refrigerator to haul away – I would not be willing to pay anything for the delivery. Some stores offer free delivery and that is where I’d go if they had the unit I wanted (but only if they’d take away the junk item that was being replaced or at least negotiate a price with me). I recently bought a dishwasher because the parts to repair my original one were too expensive – even though I could have done the repairs. I bought a model I liked and we were reimbursed by the manufacturing company for the delivery. These kind of “specials” occur often if you will just shop and you are happy with the brand that is offering the special. I can see where a refrigerator might present more of a problem if you need an immediate replacement.
