As of September 15, 2007, the following Flash 8 features are used by less than 5% of websites and are not currently supported in Flash Lite 3: • Filters (blur, drop shadow, etc.) • Blend modes (add, subtract, multiply, etc.) • Enhanced strokes (miter, square, etc.) • CSS support • tag • Text as Link • setTimeout • WMode • _target • Encoding per pixel alpha with Flash 8 video (On2 VP6) • Bitmap caching • ActionScript Objects, or methods • LocalConnection object (to be added in a Flash Lite 3.x update) • movieClip.AttachBitmap() • Flash.Geom object • Flash Remoting To learn more about optimizing your website and content for Flash Lite 3, review the Flash Lite 3 web browsability support guidelines.
