A. The RC Buddy has a circuit tester to let you know if a valve is operational. If the zone you are testing is out of your sight, the circuit tester on the RC Buddy will let you know if the zone is running. We also use a proprietary magnet system for a secure, quick an easy connection. Other brands use only alligator clips in order to connect to the valves at the controller’s terminal screws, and they often disconnect. Another feature is a portable 24VAC power outlet.
