What facilities does the UUP Research Department have for conducting survey research?
A. The Research Department can assist chapters or committees that decide to do survey research. After a chapter or committee creates a survey instrument, we can offer suggestions in terms of layout and strategy in order to obtain the highest possible response rate and the most accurate results. The Research Department also has the capability for optical recognition (scanning) of survey results through a new computer program called Remark Office OMR. This program allows us to scan completed survey forms and to analyze the data in a variety of ways.
