What facilities are going to be contained in this new multi-plex?
We are still in the conceptual planning stage but we are designing the Multiplex around the following: two ice surfaces, one with a seating capacity of approx. 2000 seats (with the ability to increase this to around 3,000 with temporary seating as an entertainment venue) a 25-metre lap pool a leisure pool a walking track, community areas, changing rooms, multi-purpose rooms etc. There is a growth in the need for leisure services as well as health-oriented services and we are planning on incorporating all of these things into the multi-plex. This will ensure a centre that meets the needs of all ages in a family friendly area.
