What facilities are available ashore?
At the Moorings base there are a number of facilities available. You can pick up a token and a towel from the charter desk and use these for showers. The charter desk is usually open until 11pm. Most people will take advantage of these showers because they may be their last shower onshore for one week. Nearly all the islands that we sail to do not have shower facilities available. Some of the islands have private resorts where you may be able to access facilities. However, it is best to assume that you will be showering aboard during the charter. Showering aboard is also convenient, since you do not have to shuttle back a forth in the dinghy that my not be perfectly dry.
