What extras are offered?
Elementary: All students in our elementary department (K4-5th grade) will participate in several extras. K4 through 3rd grade participate in music. Once a student reaches 4th grade, he/she has the opportunity to choose between choir and band. Beginning Spanish is taught in 3rd grade. All students participate in art at some level. All students 1st through 5th grade have PE class and all students in grades K4-5th grade have library time on a weekly basis. All students have a time for recess on a daily basis. Girls in K5 through 5th grade have the opportunity to participate in our junior pep squad. Beginning in 1st grade, boys and girls alike have the opportunity to participate in many after school sports such as flag football, basketball and soccer. Boys and girls in 5th and 6th grade are also able to participate in competitive cross country and basketball teams.
