What extra-curricular, programs are available?
Every semester, the Office of Residence Life and the Office of Student Services offer all students various opportunities to explore New Rochelle and its surrounding areas. Examples include a Moonlight Cruise (around Long Island and the Statue of Liberty); Broadway shows (Beauty & the Beast, Rent, Aida); educational seminars and workshops (health, safety, life skills); and cultural trips to New York (Botanical Gardens, New York Aquarium). Also, to cheer on our nationally recognized sports teams, Monroe College frequently provides transportation to and from games. In addition, Monroe College student clubs sponsor parties, fund-raising events, movie nights, and more. So, there is always an activity that students can participate in.
