What extra care will be needed if my child develops diarrhea and vomiting?
A. In young children, diarrhea and vomiting can very easily upset their fluid balance and this may require special precautions and, possibly, admission to hospital to make sure their fluid balance is adequately controlled. If you have any doubts with a young child, you should take them to the nearest Accident and Emergency Department Explaining the situation and asking to see a doctor immediately.
