What expiration date is does Safecor Health utilize on the repackaged product?
Safecor Health complies with the FDA guidance provided in May 2005 titled, “Expiration Dating of Unit-Dose Repackaged Drugs: Compliance Policy Guide”. Our drug “use by date” or “expiration date” on most products is one year from the date of repackaging or the expiration date on the manufacturer’s original product, whichever is less. Some unique products or refrigerated products may have a much shorter expiration date depending upon a variety of factors and regulatory requirements. It is important to note here that Safecor Health is licensed as a “Shared Service” repackaging provider and has significant & numerous quality and regulatory policies, procedures, processes, testing, validation, training, documentation and environmental conditions to perform our services according our licensing and our high standards for quality.
