Smithsonian… then follow the signs for “the Mall” within the station. Then walk past the Washington Monument on the right (north). Keep going along the north side of the Mall (Constitution Ave. side). The Vietnam Memorial is before you get to the reflecting pool. You’ve gone too far if you get to the Lincoln Memorial.
