What exercises can i perform while swimming to lose weight???
Mix it up a little so you don’t get bored. Swimming is the best all around workout, but also get a kick board and pull bouy and do some laps of just kicking and pulling. You could time yourself for certain distances and compete with yourself to improve your times. I’ve seen water areobics do wonders for older/overwieght folks, but haven’t really found it to be a great workout if you’re in decent shape although you could add a few laps of “water walking” to keep it interesting. You would see the best results focusing more on the lap swimming/drills. Start slow so you don’t get discouraged. If you’re a beginner, see what you can do in 20-30 minutes (with rest in between laps) and work your way up from there as you feel more comfortable. Good luck and have fun! (That’s probably the most important part. If you’re not enjoying it you’re not likely to keep it up).
