What exciting event is occurring in North Carolina EMS?
The purpose of the EMS Toolkit Grant Program is to improve and enhance North Carolina’s Emergency Medical Services (EMS) response times. North Carolina EMS systems have expressed that performance issues often require additional financial resources otherwise not available to the EMS System. The EMS Toolkit Grant Project is a new and exciting opportunity for North Carolina EMS Systems to obtain needed monetary resources for this very important cause. The 2008 EMS Toolkit Grant Program awarded $1.6 million to 26 counties to help improve the response time of EMS to 911 calls.
