What examples of Access Technology are available?
There are many types of products that are available to help children with a visual impairment and these are good example of three of them. Screen Magnification software – this software enables the visually impaired user to be able to magnify information that is displayed on the screen of a computer and enlarge it. Screen Reading software – this software would be used for a visually impaired person who is registered blind or severely sight impaired. CCTV Video Magnifiers – these products can be portable or used on a desktop to enlarge text and information that is located on a moving XY table and is being enlarged with an auto-focussing camera.
