Such an awesome song! In my opinion, i think this song is about him loving someone however liking someone else at the same time while hes in the relationship. The gun is loaded (meaning he LOVES the person but he isn’t ready to shoo OR cant hold it because the person isn’t showing back) he’s giving away his gun to the person he likes because he has lost faith for the person he loves ALTHOUGH he still loves the other person but feels he can’t do it anymore because he has to set himself free.
