Bob Ross, an American TV artist invented the technique because he felt that art should be available to everyone, not just a fortunate few. He invented the “wet-on-wet” technique to simplify oil painting. Using special paints and equipment, a canvas is coated with a thin oil-based preparation which stays wet whilst the painting is being completed.Q: How does the Bob Ross technique differ from conventional oil painting?
