What exactly is “FurryTale”?
FurryTale is a graphical chat program. All you need is a browser like Internet Explorer or FireFox and the latest Flash plugin. During our beta test, this is a completely free service. Once we go into production mode there will still be a service that’s completely free, but we might provide a subscription service that gives other options (keeping accounts open longer, saving the rooms they create longer, and similar things). We haven’t decided how that’s going to work just yet, and it is probably not going to happen right away, anyway. It’s important to understand that in order to participate in this service you don’t need any additional software or plugins. All that you need to use FurryTale is a modern web browser and the latest Flash plugin from Macromedia. Most web browsers come with the Flash plugin.
