What Exactly Is Engine Sludge Build Up?
Engine sludge buildup is from dirty or old oil. That’s why it is important to change your oil and filter every 3,000 miles or every 3 months, whichever comes first as the dirty oil that pumps to your engine can gunk it up and ruin your engine. Much cheaper to maintain regular oil changes than it is to replace a motor. If it’s really bad you may have to have your engine cleaned, otherwise have your oil changed regularly and the filter too (which collects the gunk) and it will flush through the engine.
