What exactly is calibrating touch screen [cell phones]?

0

Calibration is basically the phone responding to you touching its screen. When you calibrate a phone, you are programming it to respond to your touch where ever you touch it – rather than where you don’t touch it. Sometimes, because of wear and use, you need to recalibrate every so often so that your phone gets the best accuracy possible. When you buy a new phone like that with a touch screen it may want you to calibrate it the first time you turn it on. All you would need to do is touch the screen where it tells you to touch it.
