Antimatter is a particle that exactly mirrors a particle of regular matter, having opposite charge and spin and equal mass. There is conservation of charge and conservation of spin, so when energy is converted into mass in the equations of special relativity, the resulting mass consists of equal parts matter and antimatter, thus no net spin and no net charge is created. When matter and antimatter combine, the process happens in reverse, and the mass is converted into energy by the equation e=mc^2. Antimatter exists. It can be created in a lab. They’ve even made whole antimatter atoms with positrons orbiting anti-protons. They use lasers to keep it isolated because if matter contacts antimatter, it releases a fantastic explosion. However, it can only release as much energy as went into creating it, so that limits it’s utility and danger. We cannot currently create a dangerous level, just a few atoms of the stuff. To create a dangerous amount would require an enormous quantity of energy
