What exactly is “American Sportswear”??
It’s difficult to explain, but I will try. First of all, one of the masters of American Sportswear is Michael Kors. So I would google him to see pictures of his work. Basically American Sportswear is casual clothes (usually separates) that are cut in chic, simple and clean lines. This includes shorts, pants, shirts and jackets. Think of business casual or clothes that you see wealthy people wearing while on vacation at a beach resort. American style is usually solid colors and simple shapes.
