What exactly is a teacup puppy?
The word ‘teacup’ refers to any dog that weighs 4 lbs. or less fully grown. Many people, including some breeders, say that there is no such thing as a teacup. We beg to differ. Yes, of course, they are correct if they are implying that there is no such breed called Teacup anything. That is true. When we use the term ‘Teacup Chihuahua’, we don’t mean that Teacup Chihuahua is a breed of its own. We are are merely using the term to describe the small size of that Chihuahua, which there is such a thing.
