A plug-in is a Software based effect processor, which runs on a specific operating system-in our case the Mackie OS. Plug-ins can be purchased from a Mackie Digital Systems dealer. The amount of plug-ins you can use at one time is determined by the number of MFX or UFX cards you have installed in the Digital 8 Bus. Once you have purchased a plug-in you may use it as many times as your available effect cards will allow.
