Actually, the food pyramid is the system based on what HUMANS eat as healthy diet. What you mean is FOOD CHAIN. Basically, this is the link to which all animals in any category from highest to lowest. This is based on the prey and the predator. But it doesnt matter on the size of the animal. Only its eating habits. For example, humans are on the bottom of the food chain but may not necessarily be the bottom last. There are animals larger in size than us, but we eat them.
