What exactly is a dandelion?
It just depends upon your perspective and attitude about this plant. One man’s weed is another man’s food, so to speak. If it grows where it’s not wanted, like a person’s beautiful lawn, it will be eliminated. I didn’t know that it was sold in grocery stores. When I was a kid I would occasionally pick young dandelion leaves and mix them in a garden salad. People in my family would make wine from the (yellow) flowers. Now, as an adult, I spray them with weed killer when they appear in my yard. By the way, how do you feel about wild rabbits (you know, cute little bunnies)? When I was a kid, some people had them as pets. My mom used to make a delicious rabbit stew. Yum!
