What exactly is a Career Networking Event?
A networking event is a gathering of professionals, students and alumni who share career interests and goals. At these events, participants share their expertise and perspectives with one another for the mutual benefit of the participants. These events can be small and informal, or large and more structured. Often professional guests introduce themselves and outline their background before all participants break into smaller groups for more specific conversations about work environments, career paths, and current and future opportunities within certain industries.
