What exactly happens after Skate UK Star Gold?

You absolutely don’t sound stupid! I wasn’t given much info when starting out either. If you want to move up the NISA test levels then you must sit tests and you must have a NISA affiliated coach to sit tests. If you are set on doing this then you should join a skating club about now, my club allows Skate UK badges 5 and up to join the cub, your local club may be different. Usually ice rinks that have a figure skating information wall where you can find information about the club and how to join. Once you join, you will be the new one for a while but you will progress much faster with a coach. Once you have joined the club you will have the opportunity to ask a coach to give you private lessons. Your new coach will tick off your Skate UK badges and once you pass your Gold Star, your coach will probably begin working with you on a program. Your coach will probably ask if you want to compete or do tests. They will then start working you on Field Moves and Elements. Field Moves are 1 of 3
