What exactly happened between kat von d and ami james?
She was very disrespectful to the shop. There are scenes on Miami Ink where she insulted the shop to customers in front of Ami. She also insulted the Orange County Chopper guys and Beth in crossover episodes where they no longer wanted anything to do with them. Ami and Nunez had to go visit them and apologize for Kat. She also refused to do any tattoos in color, even though Ami and Nunez hired her to do tattoos in color as well as B&W. The other guys were angry because she was there to help them with the workload but with her refusing work it gave more to them to do instead. Ami gave her warnings but she ignored them. She also stayed out partying all night and showed up to work hours late and hungover. Which led to customers having to be tattooed when she wasn’t at her best, come back when she was sober, or left altogether. The Miami guys held a meeting and decided it was best to fire her.
