What exactly full exhaust system (3/4 , 2in1) from yoshimura will fit for sv1000s 2006?
Gidday, The 3/4 system uses the existing first part of the std exhaust system which exits from the cylinder heads and is about 8(ish) inches long. Yes the 2003 spec will easily fit on your 06, I have one on my 05, but you’ll need a spacer behind where the pillion foot peg mounts to the frame to bring it into propper alignment with the muffler (about 3/4 inch on mine). I tend to remember that I put the bike on a rear stand and dropped the side stand and mounting off while fitting as it made it a whole lot easier. I love the look and the sound, and the fact that more than a few mistake my bike for a SV650, until they get close – or left behind.
