What exactly do spermicides do and why are they important?
Spermicides the chemicals that disable the sperm to function, so we say it “kills” the little bugers. They come in forms of a cream, jelly, foam or suppository. There are a few different types of spermicides. Most are similar in cost and effectiveness. Put the spermicide in each time befor intercourse. Always read the instructions carefully. If you have sex again, always insert more spermicide. Do not cleanse( douche) for at least 6 hours after intercourse, or you could wash away the protection. Most of the applicators are reuseable, just remember to thoroughly cleanse it with soap and water. Spermicides can also be used during a menstrual period. It can be used at ALL times.
