What exact functions do Teleonix RTUs perform?
The RTU measures and records the signal levels connected to its inputs along with a time-stamp and stores the collected data. At pre-set intervals it establishes a connection to the data server and uploads the data to the server. It also looks for updated programming settings and downloads such files from a server. The RTU also initiates alert messages when monitoring performance of processes.
