What evidences of Roman occupation of the island do we still have?
England has a lot of evidebce of Roman occupation. In London, a whole multitude of finds have been located from the Temple of Mithras, to hoards of coins buried in a street called Cheapside. The remains of many Roman villas still survive and evidence from authors such as Cassius Dio amd Suetonius. If you ever find yourself in London – visit the Museum of London in Aldersgate Street. It has a fascinating collection of Roman artifacts.
