What ever happened to the work on the job family groupings that we worked on earlier this year?
The preliminary work on the job family groupings has been incorporated in a few classification structures such as the Legal, and Human Resources series. Revisions to those classification descriptions are being drafted. Building a new classification and compensation structure takes time and will need to be done incrementally. The priority focus has been on the work to gather the comparable market salary data. The prior work done on the job family groupings, which was a method to organize like-duties and similar job responsibilities, will be revisited, starting with non-represented positions.
