What ever happened to the SAT I and the SAT II?

The SAT I is now called the SAT Reasoning Test and the SAT II is now called the SAT Subject Tests. The names were changed because the tests have changed. For example, the SAT Reasoning Test now has a writing component and tests a higher level of math than before. The SAT Subject Tests no longer offer Math IC or the Writing exam.
