What ever happened to basketball players Ralph Sampson and Scottie Pippen?
Ralph Samson was indicted in 2006 on perjury charges in a federal child support case, charged with being over $300,000 behind in child support payments for offspring he fathered with two women. On September 7, 2006, he pleaded guilty to mail fraud in the U.S. District Court in Richmond and received a two month prison sentence. As part of the plea agreement, charges of making a false statement about his finances in a child support case and perjury were dropped. Sampson now lives in a suburb of Atlanta along with his fiancee and their three year old daughter. His ex-wife, Aleize from whom he was divorced in 2003, and their four children also live in the Atlanta area. His son Ralph Sampson III was a highly recruited senior from Duluth, GA, and now plays at the University of Minnesota.
