Answer Jason Thompson lives and works in the Detroit area. The native Californian settled in Orchard Lake. Tom Veryzer lives and works in his hometown, Islip, New York. Phil Mankowski still lives outside of Buffalo, New York. I don’t know what they are up to. Do you have the plastic seats? If so, very little value. Around $100 or so. If you have the old “Mack Truck Green” wooden seats, then you have something a little more valuable. There was a large installation of seats between 1912 and 1922 that involved wooden slat seats that bolted to the ground, feet straight into the concrete. In 1938, they began somewhat larger seats for the somewhat enlarging derriere population. These wooden slat seats are called “risers”. They bolted to the concrete step underneath the seat, and perpendicular to the seat. The older seats are worth more. The price varies.
