What events require risk assessment?
EVERYTHING! However, this doesn’t mean that you have to write a risk assessment for everything. For a small event (like a meeting) just take a couple of minutes to think “are there any risks?” if the answer is no that’s your risk assessment done. If the answer is yes you may need to do a couple of things e.g. check the fire exits are unlocked and clear. The bigger or more dangerous your event the bigger and more comprehensive your risk assessment. Generally speaking even for small events its worth writting down your risk assessment (even if its only a couple of paragraphs).
