What events has Globosport been involved with in the recent past? What is the focus area of the event management division for this year?
Right now, the focus is to work towards the big tennis season towards the end of the year, because these events take about three to four months to plan. Besides this, there are a lot of ongoing events happening on a smaller level. The last thing we did was the Tag Heuer Golf Tournament about four weeks ago in Delhi. It was the biggest corporate golfing event in India. We’re doing more corporate golf events, but those will not be big, national media properties. Our focus as a company has always been in ownership of properties, rather than event management. And that will continue to be the case with Globosport. We’re not an event management company. At the end of the day, Globosport is a sport and entertainment company, a media company. We believe in ownership of content. So, the event management division has to link in to the overall vision of ownership of content.
