What Evangelism Department Do?
One of the four departments of Deaf International is the Department of Evangelism. Since 99% of the 364 million deaf people worldwide are unreached, The Department of Evangelism seeks to reach them with the Word of God. This department is dedicated to substantially increasing opportunities for deaf people worldwide to have access to matters of religion. The department has reached deaf people in the United States, Trinidad, Romania, Moldova, the Philippines, and the Bahamas. The department achieves its goal through preaching, teaching, conducting camps, workshops, revivals, and conventions, and providing a wide variety of assistance. GOALS: • Reach one of the largest unreached people groups in the world. • Bring the hope, grace, love, passion, and joy of Jesus Christ to deaf people internationally and nationally. • Provide deaf people with as much access to the Word of God as is enjoyed by hearing people.
