What era do the weapons originate from?
As a reference point, in the first release the technology will be roughly equivalent to that of the movie Aliens [1979]. Miner Wars is only set 70 years or so into the future, weapons will be almost like today’s, i.e. projectiles such as bullets and rockets. This applies to defense too – there will be no Star Trek energy shields, only strong armor. That being said, in our design document we have four energy/particle weapons. They are yet to be implemented.
