This one is up to personal preference, although wood shafts have been used very effectively for thousands of years. Clothing — durable, comfortable (not baggy, not tight), something that will not snag on the trees/brush/undergrowth, and ***quiet***. If your trousers, shirt, jacket, whatever are making a “zip,zip,zip” or “swoop,swoop,swoop” noise of any kind, the boar are definitely going to hear you long before you see them (and then you most likely won’t see them at all – but you might hear them taking off in the opposite direction).
