What equipment is used to apply polymers?
There are generally two methods in which to apply polymers. The broadcast method is accomplished through broadcasting the polymer evenly on to the soil and then tilling it into the soil to the appropriate depth of about 3-6 inches. The banding method is to band into or over the seed row at a depth of about 2 to 3 inches and is accomplished by using different forms of banding operations. The most commonly used equipment consists of gravity feed systems, planter boxes and micro banders.
