What equipment is required?
EAMS was designed so that, once you have access to the full electronic environment, all you need to access EAMS is a computer with an Internet connection and Web browser (Internet Explorer 6.0 or above). Attorneys and claims administrators-especially those participating in the e-forms trial-will find it useful to have a scanner to facilitate the submission of documents. Because electronic filing and EAMS access is not yet generally available, parties not participating in the e-forms trial may wish to defer purchase of equipment they intend to use for EAMS unless they presently have another need for the equipment. The KBSI training manual provides a list of recommended equipment. At a minimum, Raters will need to have a blower door and Duct Blaster™. Blower doors are used to measure the air-tightness of the home and assist the rater in identifying the location of the major leaks. A Duct Blaster™ is used to measure the tightness of duct systems. The approximate cost for a blower door and Duct Blaster™ including several important accessories is $5,000. The Energy Conservatory offers a five percent discount to KBSI students.

A Power Rack is beneficial (enhances results by allowing you to take exercises to failure) as is a high/low pulley machine (to allow for training the back and triceps), but these pieces of equipment are not required (although they will improve progress). I Don’t Want To Become A Bodybuilder! YOU control how much muscle you gain, so you can gain as little as you wish, and the only limit to how much muscle you can build is genetics. By following this program, you can gain 5, 10, 20, or 60+ pounds of muscle — your genetics are the only limiting factor. Upon satisfaction with your level of muscle mass, simply switch to the maintenance phase (I cover such methods in the course book). You’ll maintain the mass you’ve gained, without additional growth. If you later decide that you want to add more mus
