What equipment do I need, to share internet with friends and neighbors wirelessly?
In order to share your internet connection with friends and neighbors, you will first have to be connected to a high speed broadband internet connection. After you have determined that, you will need to determine how far away your neighbors are and if they are in Line of Site to you house or not. We recommend attaching an omni directional antenna on the roof of your location and then attaching between a 8dbi and 14dbi antenna on your neighbors roof. Depending on distance and obstructions, depends on the type of antenna needed. If there is no line of site, between you and your neighbor, please contact us for recommendations.
