April 9, 2008 I want to know an equipment that can analysis and measure the amount of nickel suphamate , nickel chloride and boric acid in sulphate and ammonia. as I did not find any technology method . Mohamed Othman – Egypt April 14, 2008 I suppose that the reason you haven’t gotten a lot of replies is that sulphamate nickel baths are generally analyzed by good old fashioned titration. Perhaps if you said WHY you need some other method some suggestions would be forthcoming. James Totter, CEF – Tallahassee, FL May 5, 2008 It is as Mr. Totter says: plain old titration – a buret, a few chemicals, and a good eye. The only parameters that I’ve ever tested for that required different equipment were sulfate in a hexvalent chromium bath, and Rochelles salts in a cyanide copper bath. (Though there are titration methods for the latter, they stink. The best way to analyze for tartrate ion in that matrix is, IMHO, ion chromatography.
