The Group is certified to ISO 14001 since 1998. This applies to all manufacturing units, logistics centres, engineering and technical centres around the world. SKF has a single certificate for the Group since 1998, rather than individual certificates for each site. Recent acquisitions are excluded and are all working towards certification. The schedule for certification can be found here. SKF ISO 14001 certificate encompasses 88 sites in 26 countries, including all units in China, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Poland and South Africa. The Group has integrated health and safety management with its environmental management system and SKF was the first of the large bearing companies in the world to certify to OHSAS 18001 in 2005.
